Keith Simmons has proudly called Louisville, Tennessee home for the past 25 years. He and his wife, Linda, have been happily married for 49 years and are the proud parents of two children, Chad and Kelly, and grandparents to six grandchildren ranging in age from five to 15.

Keith spent much of his early working life in the construction industry as a laborer, framer, drywaller, and finish carpenter. In 1988, he began his management career with Walmart, serving as an Assistant Manager, Operations Manger, and Co-Manager over five years. There, he gained hands-on experience overseeing store operations, preparing budgets, scheduling employees, ordering merchandise, training associates, implementing company policy, and managing loss prevention; experience that shaped the leadership, financial, and organizational skills he has relied on throughout his business career.

While with Walmart, Keith's family relocated roughly every 17 months. Rather than simply moving from home to home, they bought houses in need of repair, renovated them, and sold them for a profit - an experience that reignited Keith's passion for real estate and led to the founding of Simmons Properties in 1989. What began as buying, renovating, and leasing residential properties has grown into a successful business focused on owning and managing commercial real estate. In 1994, Keith became a licensed general contractor in the State of Tennessee.

That same year, Keith and his family left Walmart to pursue the American dream and start PlayRite Sports Surfaces, a sports construction company specializing in building and resurfacing synthetic football and soccer fields, playground surfaces, backyard putting greens, and synthetic lawns. Today, his son Chad has taken over PlayRite, managing day-to-day operations, and continuing the family legacy.

Keith believes Louisville is one of the most beautiful communities in Tennessee, and that its greatest asset is its people; neighbors who are friendly, hardworking, and always willing to lend a hand. After a rewarding family life and successful businesses, Keith believes it is time to give back to the community that has given his family so much. That's why he is running for Alderman in the Town of Louisville.

His guiding philosophy is simple, "We are all just stuck here in paradise." Keith is committed to preserving what makes Louisville special while helping it responsibly grow and thrive for future generations. His goal is to serve with honesty, integrity, common sense, and a genuine desire to leave the community better than he found it.
